Visitors & a Real Bath

This past weekend Ron and Velda (Matt's parents) came to visit us and meet their newest Grandson. They just loved him & he loved them. It was super neat to see Matt with his Dad & Son. (I don't think we got a picture of the three generations together. Sad) We are so glad that they were able to come up.

While they were here Enzo was finally able to take a real bath. Velda helped me bathe him in the kitchen sink. We have really deep sinks so it was intersting to say the least. He enjoyed it much more than those darn sponge baths.

One Month Old

Time goes by super fast when your having fun & getting only a little sleep. Monday was Enzo's 1 month mark. We have survived a month! It is crazy how much he has changed & grown since he was born. Not many of his newborn clothes fit him now because he is growing like a weed! He is so much more alert & is following objects, faces & sounds. He is also full of smiles & funny faces (see picture). It's been a lot of fun to interact with him more throughout the day since he isn't just eating, sleeping, pooping & peeing anymore.

Poop Pee & Spit Up all by 7 am

I guess Enzo wanted to make sure that I knew that I was very well loved by him. By 7 am he had 3 clothing changes and so did Mommy. I had no idea how talented our little guys could be. If there is ever a competition for aiming your pee and poo to land directly on Mom while having a diaper change I think he would win. (Had no idea baby po could basically fly)I will spare you pictures of his talents and instead give you a couple cute ones to look at.

Family Picture 2 weeks old

How can you not love waking up to this little guy. He has got such a personality already.

Lorenzo Matthew Poll

Lorenzo Matthew Poll joined our family right on time. He was born on April 16, 2011 at 7:15pm. Labor was long and hard on Mom as well as Lorenzo. We are so glad that he is here and healthy.
Little Enzo had to spend a couple hours right after birth on a c-pap machine. He also had to have an IV and oxygen. A rough start to life. He is doing great now.
We finally made it to our room about 10pm Saturday night. Enzo was super awake and alert and we were finally able to bond as a family.
