HaPPy NeW yEar

It feels so great to start another year. We can't believe how fast 2008 went by. Crazy. I am sure that this year will fly by too. We have become boring people here in Utah. I asked Matt what he wanted to do to bring in the New Year and he said WORK. Who works on New Years? We decided to stay home and celebrate with watching MoVIes and eating PopCorN from my new air popper! Sad to say we almost fell asleep before the New Year even came around. New YeARs day we headed for AmerIcaN FoRK canyon to take BerKLeY out for a nice hike in the snow. We hiked for about 2 hours and then headed for home. Hiking in the snow takes a lot out of you. We really enjoyed the day and are excited to what this year brings us. A few things we want to accomplish this year are: ScuBa DivInG certification, TroPicAl VacAtiOn, bUy a HouSe , tRaVel, teAch BeRklEy how to HunT, become morE fiT, Eat HeAlTHieR, grow SpirItuAlLy, and EnjOy evEryThinG iN liFe.

So tHiS is ChrIsTmAs

ChristmaS FuN

We love ChrIstmas! We left in a blIzZarD for CalIfoRniA It was great to spend time with Family again for the Holidays. We enjoyed bonding with our little NephEw TyLeR who was super excited for Christmas this year. BeRkLey was super excited too. He even opened his own present from Matt's parents . We enjoyed a great trip to BalBoA IslAnd with Matt's family for the Annual BoAt ParAde. This year was the 100th AnNiveRsarY and very crowded. We took the FaIrY across which is always a treat. SunDaY before ChrIstMas we spent time with my family at the HoLmaNs for DinNer. It was great. We enjoyed lots of Holiday shopping for last minute gift ideas that needed to be completed. We even spent 2.5 hours in TiA PaN TradIng. I got a little loopy and tried on some cool ChristMas trees as HaTs. ChriStmAs eve was spent at GrandpA FawcEtT's house with our local cousins. It is great to keep the TradiTion up even though everyone can't come all the time. We spent the night at Matt's Parents house. Then ChristMas DaY was spent everywhere. BreaKfAst with MaTts family, brunch with My FamiLy, Lunch with MaTt's family and dInNeR with my FamiLy. CRazY is the only word that describes that day. We loVed every minute of it. The best part of ChriStmAs this year was at 7pM the pHoNe ranG and we were all able to talk with my LittLe BroTheR ElDEr FawcEtT who is in MongOliA. What a perfect ending to ChrIstmAs.

Berkley did so well on the CaR ride he just slept in his kennel. what a GooD dOg!!! We are so lucky to have our parents only 5 BlOCks from each other which made it nice to be able to visit with everyone. We enjOyed 2 ThaNKsgiVing meals this year. First at RiLeY's FarM with my FamIlY and then in RedLaNds with MatT's faMiLy! Both meals were GreAt. ThaNkS so mUch eveRyoNe.
