21 !!! Here we come Vegas

Well, I finally turned 21 last week. Vegas here we come. Matt and I headed down to Vegas last Wednesday night to meet up with my Grandparents. They were so kind to let us use their timeshare for the 5 days we were in town. We had a lot of fun. The first night we met at my Uncle Sid's house and visited with the cousins a bit. They are all so big, one is even taller than me. Then we headed out to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. We ate at the Tenders Steakhouse inside the Luxor. It was a great dinner and a wonderful time to catch up with everyone. Finally at 12 am we made it to the timeshare. Matt and grandpa both felt lucky so at 12:30 the boys hit the casinos and they finally came home about 3am. us girls were already in bed. Grandpa was lucky he won $800 on slots, Matt not so lucky but he had fun. Thursday morning Grandma and grandpa headed back home to So Cal and Matt and I headed out to Las Vegas Blvd for some shopping, walking and to try our luck at the tables. Thursday night we went to Tournament of Kings, which was a lot of fun. Friday was a work day for Matt, he has lots to do and no matter were we go he always has appt with someone. I did some more shopping and then we met up with Brett and Bree. The boys went golfing while us girls shopped. Friday night Jamie and Cory came into town so we went out to dinner and then walked the strip. Lots to see on a Friday night. Saturday us girls enjoyed more shopping while the boys enjoyed the massage chairs they found at the mall. That night we headed to Mesquite were we stayed. We enjoyed swimming, gambling on cheaper tables, and a movie. Finally Sunday afternoon we headed back to reality and home. it was a great break but we are glad to be back into normal life.

Bon Fire with some Friends

We had a blast a few weekends ago with Josh & Jackie Johnson, Josh's Nephews and Cory & Jamie Lewis up Provo Canyon. The boys built a huge fire and we had a great time sitting around it catching up with one another and telling scary stories. It was a lot of fun to be outdoors and the fire was so nice and warm. We enjoyed Tin Foil dinners, s'mores, mint Oreo cookies, watermelon and each other. We hope that we can do it again before it gets to cold and snows.
